What Tales of Khassid Is

Tales of Khassid is a campaign setting for fifth-edition-style tabletop roleplaying—a world built record by record and shaped by one conviction: what happens in play should matter.

Its premise is simple and total. For nearly three thousand years, the gods guided Khassid—until their corruption and neglect broke the world in the event from which every calendar now counts: the Cataclysm.

Half the world’s population died.

The Creator returned, judged the gods, and bound them beneath divine law. Four centuries later, civilizations have rebuilt among the scars—in a world where the gods still act but are now accountable, and where mortal will is protected by the highest law there is.

That premise is not merely backstory. It is the table experience.

In Khassid, power has limits, choices are witnessed, and deeds are recorded—by institutions within the world and, sometimes, by the world itself.

The Aelorian Archives—Free and Growing

The lore of Khassid lives within the Aelorian Archives, free to read and continually expanding.

The Archives are presented in-world. Every record speaks in the voice of the institution within Khassid that preserves it, complete with seals, release authorizations, archival classifications, and—for certain records—restrictions the curious may wish had been respected.

Within the Archives, you will find the gods and their pantheons, the species of Khassid, realms and settlements with their maps, legends and songs, a growing bestiary, and the vocations through which adventurers make their mark.

Newly released records are announced through the Recently Added ticker at the top of every page.

Bring It to Your Table

Tales of Khassid is being built for use at the table.

The species of Khassid are written for play. The Deeds & Destinies wing holds vocations—subclasses, domains, paths, and other character options—created for this world but portable to other fifth-edition-style campaigns.

The Living Knowledge wing preserves the creatures of Khassid, while the setting’s regional records provide the lands, peoples, conflicts, institutions, and histories from which campaigns may grow.

The first fully documented region is the Morgdhavian Archipelago: fourteen islands shaped by law, faith, trade, history, and consequence.

The Morgdhavian Archipelago is slated for release on July 26, 2026.

Through Weight of Deeds, Tales of Khassid is preparing something further: a pathway through which the marks left at your table may one day be weighed for recognition within the living world itself.

Some stories vanish when the dice are gathered.

Where It Is Going

Khassid grows in public.

Regional overviews are opening beyond the Morgdhavian Archipelago. New pantheons are entering the Hall of Divinities. The bestiary continues to grow, and new vocations are being developed and refined through play.

Aelorian Press is the publishing arm of Tales of Khassid, where collected volumes and completed works will be released as they are ready.
