These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Aelorian Archives website and any pages, records, files, stories, images, downloads, community links, shop links, newsletter links, or other materials made available through it. By visiting or using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Additional notices, licenses, or policies may apply to particular materials or services. Those additional terms are incorporated here by reference, including the Privacy Policy and the Legal & Attributions page.
About the Site
The Aelorian Archives is a creative and informational archive for the fictional world of Khassid and the broader Tales of Khassid project. The site may include lore, histories, legends, species records, pantheon records, game-facing material, setting notes, artwork, songs, stories, community links, shop links, and related creative works.
The Archives are a living body of work. Records may be revised, expanded, reorganized, corrected, restricted, renamed, or removed as the setting develops.
Permitted Use
You may access and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. This includes reading the material, sharing links to pages, discussing the setting, referencing records in private tabletop games, and using materials in ways expressly allowed by the licenses or notices published on this site.
You may print or save a reasonable copy of a page for personal reference, private play, or accessibility purposes. This permission does not allow republication, commercial use, mass copying, dataset creation, or distribution of substantial portions of the site.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all original text, lore, setting material, characters, names, places, pantheons, organizations, archive framing, designs, artwork, page layouts, and other creative elements on this site are owned by Tales of Khassid or used with permission.
No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms, the Legal & Attributions page, the Khassid Authorized Roleplaying License (KARL), or another written permission from the rights holder.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, display, transmit, sell, license, adapt, scrape, train on, or commercially exploit site content unless expressly permitted. Removing copyright notices, attribution notices, archive release language, or license notices is not permitted.
KARL, SRD, and Other Licensed Material
Some materials may be available under the Khassid Authorized Roleplaying License (KARL). Some game mechanics, terms, and rules frameworks may also draw from SRD 5.2.1 material under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. These materials remain subject to the specific license terms and required attributions listed on the Legal & Attributions page.
If there is a conflict between these general Terms and a specific published license for a particular use, the more specific license controls for that particular use.
Community Areas and User Contributions
The site may link to or support community spaces, forums, comments, social media pages, Discord spaces, newsletters, surveys, or other places where visitors can submit or share content. You are responsible for anything you submit, post, send, or make available through those spaces.
By submitting content to Tales of Khassid or an official community space, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe another person’s rights. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, you grant Tales of Khassid permission to host, display, moderate, quote, preserve, and respond to your submission for the purpose of operating the site and community.
Please do not submit confidential information, private material, or creative work you do not want seen, discussed, moderated, or removed.
Purchases, Support, and Third-Party Services
The site may link to external services, including shops, Patreon, Ko-fi, Discord, newsletter providers, social media platforms, payment processors, or other third-party websites. Those services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, fees, refund rules, account requirements, and content policies.
Tales of Khassid is not responsible for third-party websites, outages, payment processing, shipping, account access, platform moderation, or changes made by those third-party services.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the site or its content to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe, misappropriate, or violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Copy, scrape, harvest, mirror, frame, archive, or mass-download site content without permission.
- Create a competing database, archive, wiki, product, dataset, model-training set, or commercial work from site content without permission.
- Interfere with, damage, overload, probe, or bypass the security or normal operation of the site.
- Upload malware, spam, deceptive material, or automated traffic.
- Misrepresent your relationship with Tales of Khassid or imply endorsement where none exists.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or harm another person or community member.
AI, Automated Use, and Data Collection
Automated scraping, bulk collection, content extraction, or use of the site’s original creative material for machine learning datasets, model training, model fine-tuning, synthetic media generation, or similar automated systems is prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing.
Search engines and ordinary accessibility tools may access the site in the normal course of indexing, discovery, assistive browsing, and lawful personal use.
Accuracy, Availability, and Archive Changes
The site is provided for creative, informational, and entertainment purposes. While care is taken with lore continuity and presentation, the Archives may contain drafts, evolving canon, omissions, typographical errors, continuity changes, or material that is later revised.
We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or current. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
Disclaimer of Warranties

Indemnification
You agree to hold Tales of Khassid harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person’s rights, or content you submit or share through official site or community channels.
Termination or Restriction of Access
We may block, restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the site or related community spaces if we believe a visitor has violated these Terms, harmed the site, misused content, disrupted the community, or created legal or security risk.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will indicate the latest revision. Continued use of the site after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tales of Khassid and its operation in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply as a matter of public policy or consumer protection.
