Kes is the spiritual center of the Morgdhavian Archipelago, a volcanic island of roughly 2,000 square miles east of Athos. Its capital, Volgrithal, is built into the slopes of Mount Keshtar and holds an estimated 25,000 residents out of the island's 50,000. The Grand Temple of the Twins — the Sanctuary of Balance — stands at the heart of the city, officiated by dual high priests devoted to Antaz and Sujaz.
