Cyndara is a volcanic industrial island of roughly 3,000 square miles southwest of Athos, home to an estimated 70,000 residents. Its capital, Emberhold, is a blackstone-walled port city built into the side of Mount Voryn, powered by lava channels and devoted to the forge-craft of Sujaz.
