Hearthglade
A protected Felden hearth-ground in eastern Athos, raised by covenant, orchard labor, river work, and quiet sovereignty.

Released by the Aelorian Archives for public study with covenant-sensitive details preserved in general form.
Place record prepared for civic, cultural, travel, and regional reference. Internal hearth-law proceedings remain under Felden authority.
A hearth-ground that answers politely, not softly.
Hearthglade lies south and east of the Forest of Mir, within reach of both Kieron’s Keep and Taron’s Crossing. It is one of Athos’s youngest settlements, founded after Queen Vaelandrytha granted the basin to the Felden as protected hearth-ground under royal covenant.
The settlement is not a Crown village in ordinary form. Felden stewards govern internal matters through hearth-law, while the community remains bound to the Queen’s peace by covenant, trade, and mutual obligation.
Protected Hearth-Ground
A Felden enclave recognized by the Crown but governed internally by hearth-councils.
Orchard Basin
Old groves, restored terraces, grain fields, mills, and the Cerulean Flow sustain the settlement.
Hospitality With Teeth
Visitors are fed, watched, and expected to understand that welcome is not weakness.

What Hearthglade Is
Hearthglade began when Elder-Sister Tymberlee Quickheel asked the Crown for soil where Felden law, memory, and hearth-covenant could take root. The Queen’s grant created a protected enclave within Athos: not a gift of charity, but an agreement that Felden prosperity would strengthen the realm without dissolving Felden identity.
Land, Trade, and the Cerulean Flow
The basin is sustained by the Cerulean Flow, restored orchards, repaired terraces, mills, shared granaries, and disciplined soilwork. Hearthglade trades fruit, grain, cider, preserves, flour, timber, fish, and household goods through river routes and eastern Athosi roads.
Culture and Caution
Hearthglade is warm, communal, and practical. A guest may receive stew and a blanket by the fire, then a basket or repair hook the next morning. The settlement’s cheer is real, but it rests on preparation, memory, and a sharp understanding of boundaries.
