Tales of Khassid

A fantasy world four centuries after the gods broke it—where divine law now binds the heavens, mortal will is sacred, and civilizations rebuild among the scars.

The Cataclysm

The day the world broke.

For nearly three millennia, Khassid flourished under the guidance of its gods. But the gods of tyranny, betrayal, and greed corrupted mortal civilizations from the shadows, while pride rotted the pantheon from within. The gods turned inward, consumed by rivalry—and the world itself began to fracture.

The deepest wounds fell upon The Wild, the spirit of nature herself. Her anguish erupted as the Scream: a grief felt through all creation, one that silenced even the gods who fed on ruin.

The Scream summoned Aeru, First Breath of Creation, back to a world on the brink of collapse. Aeru’s judgment bound the gods beneath divine law, and the shattered world began again. Khassid counts its years from that reckoning—and every nation, faith, and ruin still carries the mark.

The World of Khassid

The world beneath the tales.

Khassid is a world of scattered continents, divine scars, rebuilt civilizations, haunted seas, and living faiths. Four centuries after the Cataclysm, its nations endure in the shadow of gods who still act, but who are no longer unbound.

At its center lies the Morgdhavian Archipelago: the primary sandbox for Tales of Khassid and the clearest first doorway into the wider setting.

Whether you arrive as a reader, a player, or a worldbuilder, the setting is built for layered discovery—and through Weight of Deeds, the marks left at the table may one day be weighed for recognition within the wider world.
